This song was written around 2014-2015 and I had thought I lost the tab and recording of it until I recently found it saved on an old Google Drive. It was right around the time that Slaves to the Underground asked us to participate in the Silent Night Compilation so we decided to re-vamp it a bit and use it.

The lyrics for the song were actually based on the artwork done by Hellish.Cav. I had no immediate intent for the artwork when I purchased it but it inspired me to write Crimson Death. The lyrics tell the story of a hero that is seeking the so called Crimson Pools that grant immortal life. What the hero doesn’t know is that the pools are protected by an ancient riddle from the Gods and anyone who does not solve the riddle is turned into an undead servant hellbent on abducting local peasants and the such to bring to the pool and be turned into more undead servants.
